A happy, healthy child is a successful child.

Our expert team of Bible Teachers, Chaplain, subject teachers, staff and counselors develop the skills of resilience, adaptability, and emotional intelligence in our students. We encourage our students to have a balanced approach to their school years, which includes appropriate levels of exercise, social activity, and academic pursuits.

We address any issue that can affect a student's learning or emotional well-being conviction, professionalism, and purpose; as we value the support of our active parent body and provides parents as partner workshops to ensure a cohesive pastoral message.

We want to reassure you that everyone is precious to us.

University Guidance Counseling
(대학 진학 상담)

Our Counseling team is to support students in making successful and well-informed applications to universities around the world.
The team, made up of 4 dedicated members with profound experience, both in Korea and around the world, works with students and parents throughout the IB DP program. We know that many of our students and parents expect to make ambitious applications to university, and are willing to work hard to be successful.
Our team embraces this ambition, and provides the support to help achieve these aspirations.

Learning Support

We all learn in different ways and some of us have more barriers to learning than others.
Our counselors are here to ensure that we continue to provide an education for our students that is both challenging and accessible. This is done through one to one support, group work and consultation with our staff.
Support is provided and open to all who want it.

Emotional Support

At GSIS, we have a dedicated team of experienced counselors who are on hand to provide emotional support for all our students within this community.
Our ethos at GSIS clearly states that we don’t allow students to slip through the cracks. This means that we understand that in order for our students to thrive academically they must be happy and feel safe.
Our school counselors can help remove barriers to learning.

Responsive Services

Our Counselors meet their students to discuss important information of an academic nature, but devote time to coaching type conversations with individual students or the group as a whole.
The Counselors may also discuss current affairs, help students plan presentations, reflect on classes or plan group activities such as charity activities, faith-based programs and more.
